Chao Phraya River,The longest river in Thailand come from northern of Thailand overthere in the area of the Chaingmai and Chaingrai Provinces have 4 rivers named Ping, Wang, Yom and Nang rivers, flow around 500 kilometres to the centre region of thailand called Nakon-Sawan Province and then conbine 4 rivers into one river called "Chao Phraya" (mean "Duke" in English). And then flow for another 270 kilometres to Bangkok the present capital city and also flow pass Ayutthaya, the old capital city of Thailand.

  Chao Phraya River, served as the main avenue of the city of Bangkok in the past. Therefore,all significant structures can be found on both banks of the river, as places of warship under constant repairs and well maintained, palaces and residences of Royals and nobleman, and head offices of Western companies that were front runners in trade.  A cruise on the Chao Phraya River thus gives one an insight into the past of bangkok, apart from an enjoyable stroll on the river itself.

Bangkok Noi (Noi is meant "small" in Thai) where the Royol boats is kept in the place as the museum  which is opened to the public everyday. Visitors can see the tropical Thai lives, Thai houses along the canal and also visiting the Floating Market called "Bangkok Noi Floating Market ". Taking a boat ride along Bangkok Noi canal, viewing superb pieces of Thai visual art and making merit  "feeding cat fish with bread"

Wat Arun , "Wat"it means"temple" in English located on the west bank of the Chao
Phraya River, it is very old temple and it was built around Ayutthaya period. But when
Thailand was sacked by Burmese in 1767 AD. King Taksin made Thai independent
from Burmese and had to move the capital from Ayutthaya to Thonburi by boats.
Evenually these boats came along Chao Phraya River and get to Wat Arun in the
morning. So later King Taksin named the temple "Arun" which it means "morning"
in Thai and the name of the temple in English called "The Temple of Dawn"

  The tower of Wat Arun, We called in Thai "Phra Prang Wat Arun", 79 meter high pagoda decorated with ceramic tiles and fragments of multicolored porcelain. You can see this pagoda from the river, it is very beautiful and it will be more beautiful if you can see it when the sun sets. A pair of giants guarding the entrance to a temple building. These are similar to the 12 giants in the Grand Palace. There are also a lot of the decorative material for the temple came as ballast on boats from China. These ranged from the broken porcelin plates used to decorate the wall to the Chinese statues dotted around the temple
